Bringing Hope to Remote Communities: Crisis Center Mobile Assistance

To ensure that internally displaced persons (IDPs) have access to the necessary assistance, our crisis center team regularly conducts mobile outreach visits to the locations where they reside. This initiative allows us to reach communities that are often neglected due to their remoteness or limited resources.

One such visit took place in the village of Komariv, where our team met with IDPs to provide them with essential support. Through the coordinated efforts of our specialists, we were able to offer assistance tailored to the needs of each family and individual.

Our team consisted of:

  • Psychologist: Professional psychological support is a crucial component of assistance, especially for people who have experienced traumatic events. Individual consultations, group sessions, and other forms of support help stabilize emotional well-being and adapt to new living conditions.
  • Lawyer: Legal issues often hinder IDPs when it comes to documents, housing, or employment. Our lawyer provides qualified consultations, helping to resolve legal matters and protect the rights of IDPs.
  • Case Manager: The case manager acts as a guide for each family, helping them find solutions to various life situations. From finding temporary housing to obtaining medical assistance, the case manager coordinates all necessary actions.
  • Project Coordinator: The coordinator ensures the team’s actions are aligned and that the outreach visits are well-organized, ensuring that help is provided promptly and as effectively as possible.

In addition to psychological and legal support, we also place great emphasis on meeting the basic needs of IDPs:

Our team provides food, clothing, hygiene products, and other essential items. This is vital for supporting those in difficult circumstances who are unable to provide for themselves and their families.

We organize workshops and educational sessions for children and adults, aimed at developing new skills that can help them find employment or regain confidence. We pay special attention to the social integration of IDPs into new communities. Our goal is to help people find their place in a new environment, feel supported, and become part of the community.

We believe that even in the most challenging circumstances, there are paths to recovery and development. Through the joint efforts of our team and caring individuals, we create opportunities for a better future for everyone in need.
