❤️🩹 Day by day, we will meet more and more people who are wounded by the war, not only externally but also internally. Our goal is to learn all the subtleties of communication with our defenders and help them adapt.
📌The training “Soldier at Home: Understand, Support” is focused on support and the ability to build dialogues.
✅For three days, in three different locations, Dialogue in Action mediator Olena Kopina conducted training for clergy, local community elders, representatives of social services, and employees of medical and educational institutions.
🙏🏻Саме these groups of people are closest to the military and their families, so it is important to learn how to communicate properly.
📌The training included group work, active discussion of cases and group reflection. We discussed topical issues:
– What are the stereotypes in interaction with defenders?
– What makes military families special;
– emotions and feelings in communication.
We are grateful to all those present for their participation and willingness to learn. Special thanks to the trainer Olena, who shares her knowledge and helps to overcome barriers.
The training was held within the framework of the project “Bridging the Gaps in Communities”, with the support of Caritas Ukraine, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs / OCHA Ukraine and the Ukrainian Humanitarian Foundation.
